Wishing to extend our sincerest sympathy to the children, siblings, and all the family members of Mick Kearney. And also, to his many friends. Mick was a very humble and soft spoken man; a kind person who always had a keen interest in the well being of others. It was always such a delight to chat with Mick, being that he was quite the historian, and of course, he always had some interesting stories to tell. With a twinkle in his eye, and usually with a wee smile, he loved to reminisce about the days gone by, talk about the roads he had travelled, people he had met & experiences he had known. His thoughtfulness will always be remembered; such as the days when he would stop by to visit with my mother, and gift her with a box of incredible fresh produce from his garden! Mick enjoyed family get-togethers and he attended several birthday parties that we hosted for our mother over the years. In his recent years, he would drive to Rainy River, to visit and chat with Mom in LTC, and also visit with other residents he knew there. Yes, Mick Kearney was not only a relative, from Sleeman, but above all else, and throughout his life, he was always a kind, respected and very dependable good friend. He will be missed by many! Karen (Kearney) Andrews
