Jack George Barnard

It is with great sadness the family of Jack George Barnard 73 of Emo, Ontario announce his passing on Sunday March 22, 2020 at the La Verendrye Hospital.
Jack was born to parents George and Ann Barnard on May 12, 1946 in Armstrong Ontario.

Jack was a carpenter by trade and work at many projects throughout Ontario and beyond. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Jack is survived by his wife Terri, his children Larry (Lori), Terry (Lesa), Bruce (Denise), Darren (Connie), his grandchildren Ashley, Brendan, Brady, Jessica, Gavin, Carter, Darren James, Navy, Hannah, and great grandson Lucas. Jack is also survived by his siblings Bernice (Bill) Reid, Doreen Mercer, Gloria (Jack) Risi, Melvin (Cathy) Barnard, sister in law Debbie Barnard, Kathey Hallaby, his extended family Riley, Blake, and Misty, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Jack was predeceased by his parents George and Ann, brothers Bruce Barnard, David Barnard, Lawrence Barnard, sister Irene Barnard and brother in law Barney Mercer.

As per Jack’s request cremation will take place and a private family service will take place. Interment will take place in Emo Cemetery.

If desired memorial donations may be made in Jack’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Society or Kenora and Rainy Riiver Districts, c/o Northridge Funeral Home, Box 89, Emo, Ontario, P0W 1E0.
