Victor Allen Jensson
On Sunday February 7, 2021 at the Emo Hospital Long Term Care, Victor Allen Jensson 86 formerly of Rainy River, Ontario passed away peacefully with his wife Carol by his side.
Victor was born August 11, 1934 in Rainy River to parents Jens and Tillie Jensson. He was united in marriage to Carol Veith on December 28, 1963 and together they raised their family on a farm north of Rainy River. Victor and Carol would remain on the farm raising their family until recently moving to Heritage House in Rainy River.
Victor lived life with honesty and integrity. His values were guided by his great faith. Victor accepted family and friends without reservation. He worked hard logging for many years. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren. They were greeted with a genuine warm smile. In later years Victor could be found out on the lake fishing and he always looked forward to family coming home so he could take the grandchildren out fishing. Victor enjoyed community events spending time with neighbors and friends, especially those Lutefisk suppers in Baudette. He was a valued member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Bergland.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Carol, his children Bernice (Peter), Colleen (Dan), Allen (Renee), Laura (Alan); his grandchildren Samantha, Joel, Patrick, Amy, Ashley, Andrea, Hannah, Branden, Rachael, Caleb and Hope. Victor is also survived by his brothers Stanley, Dale (Ethel), sister in law Shirley and brother in law Marvin.
Victor was predeceased by his parents Jens and Tillie, his brother Dennis, sister Diana and sister in law Dorothy.
A service of remembrance will be held at a later date at the McInnes Creek Chapel/Cemetery when family and friends can gather. If desired memorial donations may be made in Victor's memory to the McInnes Creek Chapel,or the Trinity Lutheran Church in Bergland c/o Northridge Funeral Home, Box 89, Emo, ON P0W 1E0
