Obituary for Shirley Ann Stuart (Lyons)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, and great grandmother on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at her home in Rainycrest Home for the Aged, with family by her side.
Shirley was born in Fort Frances on September 28, 1932 to parents Rose and Tim Lyons. She was the third oldest in a family of seven children.
On July 6, 1955 she married Byron Stuart and together they raised three children. Left with cherished memories are her children – Karen (Richard) Rob, Doug (Debbie) Stuart, Bob (Cheryl) Stuart. Her grandchildren Alyson (Aaron) Bisson, Travis (Tracy) Rob, Jessie Stuart (Brad Beecken) Jenna and Jailla Stuart, Samantha and Mathew Stuart, and her great grandchildren Claire and Sophie Bisson, Ian and Leah Rob.
She is also survived by her sister Carole (Randy) Wilde; sister-in-law Carol Lyons and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Byron, her parents Rose and Tim Lyons and her siblings Marie, Bill, Dick, Tim and Wayne.
