It is with heavy hearts that the family of Rocklin (Rocky) LaBelle announces his passing on March 28, 2022, at his home on Couchiching First Nation.

Rocky was born March 18, 1955, in Emo, Ontario to Douglas and Lois (Weston) LaBelle. Rocky spent his logging career in the bush in various companies till his retirement in 2016.

Rocky was united in marriage to Cheryl Lynn Jourdain on January 19, 1979. Rocky is survived by his wife Cheryl Lynn LaBelle (Jourdain); children Terence LaBelle, Douglas LaBelle, Oscar LaBelle (Sydney Martel). Grandchildren Landin LaBelle (Jen Grimard), Tamara LaBelle (Katie Dickson). Siblings Kevin LaBelle, Conrad LaBelle (Wanda); in-laws Barb LaJoie (Barry), Terry Jourdain (Cindy), Laurie Rose (Mervyn), Raylene Hebert (Rob), Tony Marinaro (Sarah), Naomi Jourdain (Ed), Leah Lundquist (Norman), Ruth Demuth (Mike), Denise Clendenning, Connie Kress (Terry), Cindy Bozek (Chad), Derek Bozek. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Pre-deceased by Father Douglas LaBelle, Mother Lois LaBelle, Sister Shelly LaBelle, Father in-law Clarence Jourdain, Mother in-laws Evangeline Gosselin and Elaine Jourdain.

A celebration of life will take place at the Couchiching First Nation Multi-use Facility on Saturday, April 2, 2022, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
