Obituary for Rhonda Rempel

Rhonda Rempel was born on November 4, 1982 to George and Alice Rempel. Rhonda received her miracle of healing when she peacefully entered her heavenly home on February 20, 2022 at 12:01 a.m. in her home in Stratton, Ontario Canada.

Deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her parents George and Alice of Stratton, Ontario, her sister Yolanda and Calvin of Paden, Oklahoma, brother Michael and Jolene of Fort Frances, Ontario, brother Timothy and Sheryl of Barwick, Ontario and brother Leroy and Jeni of Stratton, Ontario. Nephew - Jadrien, Nieces - Kami, and Natalie. She was predeceased by her niece Madalyn.

Rhonda accepted Jesus as her personal Lord and Saviour at an early age, and was baptized in October of 2000 at the age of 16.

Rhonda brightened the world everywhere she went and had a very positive
outlook in life. She loved to bake, especially desserts that we will miss. Rhonda enjoyed decorating and had a passion for flowers and plants. She thoroughly enjoyed working in the greenhouse and had a talent for making the perfect arrangements in her flower pots. Rhonda loved children
Including her nieces, nephew, children from kids club and those she babysat. She enjoyed being involved in mission work and loved to travel. She visited Haiti, Switzerland, Holland, Germany, France, Grenada and more. Rhonda treasured her quiet time with God and made great effort not to miss it. Her life radiated Jesus and everyone that met her, left as friend.

Rhonda struggled with a genetic condition as early as a toddler. In 2019 She was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had two major surgeries, one in Winnipeg, Manitoba and one in Tijuana, Mexico, where she ended up doing the most of her medical doctoring. Rhonda received very good care there and went to Mexico 9 or 10 different times in her 3 years of fighting the cancer. In January of 2022, the doctors said they had tried all the options for her and she should go home and enjoy time with the family. The cancer had spread to nearly her whole body including the bones, lungs, liver and we believe to her brain in the recent past.

Some people that had a great impact in her medical journey were Nurse
Practitioner Marlys Thiessen, Dr. Adan and Dr. Marco in Mexico, the Clinic Nurse, Alicia and want to thank them from the bottom of our hearts. As a family we also want to thank everyone for all the support financially, prayers, food, cards, and so much more. Rhonda felt so unworthy of all the support she received.
