Obituary for Paul Le Mesurier

Paul Le Mesurier

With great sadness the family announces the passing of Paul Le Mesurier, 55, of Fort Frances, Ontario on November 17, 2022 at the La Verendrye Hospital, Fort Frances with his family and friends by his side.

Paul was born in Hamilton Ontario June 1, 1967 and was adopted and welcomed with open arms by the beloved Earl and Mariette Le Mesurier. He grew up in Thunder Bay where he explored many job and life opportunities and later had two beautiful daughters, Jessica and Maggie. Paul later lived out his life in Fort Frances where he worked as a Water Treatment Plant Operator and took great pride in helping out Fort Frances. Paul loved being social and was involved in many hobbies, few of which were sailing and eventually playing guitar at local venues and events. He organized many jam sessions where everyone was welcome to come out, meet new people and play guitar, but also support local businesses. Paul loved the out doors, enjoying hiking, camping, photography and belonging to the Fort Frances Yacht Club. To sum up what he has done in his life would create a novel.

Paul will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Jessica and Maggie Le Mesurier, his sister Lynda Boshcoff, his niece and nephew Ally and Alexander Boschcoff, his cousins Chris and Sherry Picard. Paul received much support and love from Angela and Maureen and his many friends and extended family.

Paul was predeceased by his parents Earl and Mariette Le Mesurier.

A service of celebration and remembrance will be held on Friday November 25, 2022 at the Fort Frances Royal Canadian Legion from 12-2:30 pm.
