Obituary for Olga Prusky
It is with deep sadness that the family of Olga Prusky (nee Nagorski) announces her peaceful passing on January 22, 2023 at the Atikokan General Hospital. Olga was born on June 2, 1937 at McKellar Hospital in Thunder Bay, ON to Mary and William Nagorski.
Olga is survived by her daughters Donna and Suzan, grandchildren Angel (Jason), Rachel (John) and Brad (Paige), great-grandchildren Chloe (Marcello), Gina, Monica (Jaron), Lincoln, Wiora, Gabriella, Luca, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Mary and William Nagorski, brother Jerry Nagorski Sr., and husband Matt Prusky.
Olga worked many years at Kresge Department Store, Lakehead Freightways, Arrowhead Express, the Atikokan Public Library, the Atikokan General Hospital in laundry and housekeeping, and taught Ukrainian for Confederation College.
In the summer , you could often find Olga outside tending to her flower garden and planters and filling her many hummingbird and bird feeders. Family and friends gathered daily to meet for coffee and great conversations which she enjoyed so much.
A celebration of Life will be held June 2023.
