She is also survived by her siblings Vivian Callaghan, Gerald (Carol) Carruthers, James Carruthers, Mary Carruthers (Lynn Rowley), Fred Carruthers, David Carruthers, Nancy Rivest, Dianne (Russ) Nordstrom, Karen Carruthers (Tom Cimonetti), and Brian (Wanda) Carruthers; her sisters-in-law Forest (John) Armstrong, Elayne Betle, Amber Davidson, Star (Ben) Clarke; her brothers-in-law Jerry Blight, Wayne (Cathy) Blight, Arden Blight, Trevor Blight, Irving (Geraldine) Blight; and innumerable nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Kivimaki; her sister-in-law Martha Blight; her nephew Christopher Scott, and her special “Uncle Willy” Almers.

A memorial service was held on January 18 at the Rainy River Legion. In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to Northridge Funeral Home, box 89, Emo, Ontario, P0W 1E0 for a memorial garden administered by Weston Blight. (Please make checks payable directly to Weston Blight).
