Morris Douglas Halverson
It is with deepest sympathy we announce the passing of Morris Douglas Halverson on July 31, 2020 at his residence. Born in Nestor Falls on August 31, 1938 to Anna and Ben Halverson. He was the 3rd youngest of 9 siblings.

Morris was an Operating Engineer as a crane operator for Ontario Hydro for several years. We worked other jobs including Trans Canada Pipelines, construction jobs and also worked on the St. Lawrence Seaway. He was a Real Estate Broker for Borderland Realty for several years. Morris was very passionate about music. He wrote for many recording artists, Carol Baker and Norm Post, to name a couple. He recorded many of his own songs. He volunteered to play his music in several Senior Homes and loved the Country Jams at the Emo Legion.

When Morris wasn’t on the road, he loved spending time with family.
He is survived by his brother Bob and by his wife Arlene and numerous nieces and nephews.
