Marshall Weldon Morrison
It is with great sadness that the Family of Marshall Weldon Morrison of his passing October 16, 2018. Marshall was born March 19th, 1976 at Rainy River Hospital to James Morrison and Lorraine Big George.
He grew up on the big island first nation. He worked as a commercial fisherman, general laborer, s-100 firefighter, and culinary arts. He traveled the pow wow trail with his Grandfather Joseph on the Big Island Traditional, Spruce Creek and Mud Puddle Drum Groups. He enjoyed being with his Family and treasured his quality time with his special little girl Natalie. He was kind, humble; loving and had a great sense of humor, a real prankster, enjoyed playing cards. He enjoyed playing online games, texas holdem, xbox. it was Seven Years ago his great niece Natalie was born and chose her Uncle for a father figure and he took pride in that role and did everything and anything to make her happy and in return she made his days brighter. Marshall is survived by his Parents James Morrison and Lorraine Big George. Brother Thomas Morrison (Darrlyn Loon) Sister's Laurie Morrison (Allan Gibbons) Sarah Morrison. and numerous nieces and nephews plus great nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his grand parents Joe & Sarah Big George; Melvina Copenace; Kenneth Big George; Henry Daniels. and Step Mother Donna Joseph. His Daughter Cadence Morrison (still born) The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation towards the Big Grassy & Big Island Communities for their kindness and support.
If desired, in memoriam donations may be made to The Hospital for Sick Kids and Heart and Stroke Foundation.
