Obituary for Margaret Koles
Margaret Koles 90 of Rainy Crest Long Term Care Fort Frances, Ontario passed away peacefully on Tuesday February 18 2020 with her family by her side.
Margaret was born on December 23 1929 in Gegeny Hungary and she migrated to Canada on December 24 1972 settling in Fort Frances. She was united in marriage to John Koles on August 10 1972. Margaret worked as Dietary Staff / Cook at Laverendrye General Hospital. She retired in 1995. Margaret was a loving family woman and was passionate about spending time with family and friends, gardening and taking walk and bike rides along the river front with her grandchildren. She took pride in making homemade noodles and meals from the heart. She was a true Toronto Maple Leafs Fan with a genuine interest in all the people and animals she touched. Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her son John (Dawn), brother Less Varadi, grandchildren Hunter Koles and Brooke Roulston and her great grandchildren Asher Roulston and Cohen Roulston, nephews Les Varadi and Tibi Varadi great niece Livia Varadi and Vivian Varadi. Margaret was predeceased by her husband John, her father Janos Varadi mother Maria Kiss, and brother Janos Varadi.
A memorial mass will be held on Thursday February 27that 11:30am from St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
