Age 63 of Fort Frances ON. Suddenly passed away Thursday October 27th 2022 with her family at her side in Fort Frances ON. Louanne grew up in the areas of Wilson Creek ON, McKenzie Island, Rainy River and Winnipeg MB.
Born April 8th 1959 to Lloyd Jenson & Ann Milne in Calgary Alberta.
She was married to Alexander James Eastman in 1978.
Louanne’s life consisted of playing music in a band with her first husband Alexander and cooking for numerous years .Louanne spent a lot of years cooking in tourist camps on Lake of the Woods ON. As well as in Winnipeg MB. and at one point having her own restaurant as well in Winnipeg.
Louanne’s hobbies consisted of music, knitting, cooking, fishing, bingo and most importantly encouraging her son James Eastman to follow the family tradition as an active a musician.
Louanne is Survived by her son James Eastman (Sue) of Rainy River ON. and daughter Crystal Rose Eastman of Winnipeg MB. Grandchildren: Leslie Eastman of Winnipeg MB, Brandon Eastman of Crane River MB and Elizabeth Eastman of Rossburn MB; Great Grandchildren Jordison, Starlynn, Jolynn, Brother Harvey Bonell (Vera) of Winnipeg MB and numerous nieces & nephews and friends.
Louanne was Pre-deceased by her parents Lloyd Jenson & Ann Milne, Grandparents Ingvall Jenson & Martha Jenson, Brother Gordon Bonell, First husband Alexander Eastman . Funeral services were held Tuesday Nov 1st 2022 in Rainy River ON at 11:00am At Knox United Church with interment at McInnes Creek Chapel.
Arrangements were entrusted to Northridge Funeral home of Emo ON.
Active Pallbearers: James Eastman, Mike Angus, Ashley King, Wes Debungie, John McEvoy and Dwight Lundgren.
Honorary pallbearers: Bob Jenson, Hugh Jenson, Bill and Liz Monkman, and all her family and friends.
