Obituary for Lillian Mary "Lil" Mills
Lillian Mary Mills
(1936-2022)
Lillian passed away peacefully on September 23, 2022 with her family by her side.
Lillian was born in North Branch, Ontario on September 16, 1936. She was the youngest in the Zereseski Family with two brother and three older sisters.
She and her husband Roy, raised their four children in Atikokan, until 1972, when they moved to Schreiber, Ontario. In 1984, they moved back to Fort Frances to enjoy their retirement a few year later.
Throughout her life Lil worked as a cashier, barmaid, cook at the Fort Frances Jail and owner of a drive-in while living in Schreiber, with her husband Roy. She was a long-time Legion and Lions Club member, and an avid hockey mom.
Lil is survived by her sons, Donald (Cindy), Brent (Dawn); Susan (Ted Neville); Colleen (Ted Winters); Six Grandchildren and five great grandchildren
As per Lillian’s wishes there will not be a service. In Lieu of flowers the family appreciated any donations be sent to a charity of your choice.
