Obituary

Late Kenneth Arlo McFayden

On Tuesday October 27, 2020, Kenneth McFayden of Fort Frances passed away at the La Verendrye Hospital peacefully.

Ken was born on July 18, 1927 in Fort Frances to parents Fred and Ethel McFayden. Ken served in the Canadian Armed Forces.. He was united in marriage to Mayva McDiarmid on November 11, 1947. Ken and Mayva would reside in Fort Frances all their lives.

Ken worked for the local paper mill for over 30 years. and in his spare time enjoyed poetry, photography, and he had a great fondness for music and his pets. He was predeceased by his wife Mayva in 2012, and all of his siblings Gordon (Pat), Lloyd (Merle), Violet (Gordon) and Lyle. Ken is survived by nieces, nephews and many extended family and friends.

As per Ken’s wishes, a private interment will take place at a later date in Riverview Cemetery. If desired memorial donations may be made in Ken’s memory to the charity of your choice. c/o Northridge Funeral Home Box 89, Emo, ON P0W 1E0.
