Judith Dubuc Obituary

Judith Dubuc, nee Holden, passed away June 3rd, a day after her mother, another cancer victim. She was born in Emo on June 7, 1953. She grew up on Crow Lake and at a tourist camp on Cameron Lake in Nestor Falls. She went to high school in Fort Frances, graduating in 1971. She worked for the Town of Fort Frances, Ontario Hydro, Intercity Gas, Ontario Housing and other jobs (mostly secretarial). She was also a graduate of the Personal Support Worker Course (Confederation Collage). She moved to Ottawa in 1976 to continue in her ministry where she met her husband, Richard. They married in 1979 and moved in 1982 to the Rainy River District (Fort Frances/Devlin) (Back home for Judith).
Judith was a very kind and giving person, especially towards seniors and children. She enjoyed gardening, carpentry work, landscaping, designing homes and observing Jehovah's creations. She especially cherished time spent with her four grandchildren – Beatrix, Griffin, Marek and Oliver. She is also survived by her husband, Richard; son Tristan (Rosalie); brothers Gary (Judy) Holden and Wayne a.k.a Bucky Holden (Deborah) of Nestor Falls; sisters Nioma Holden of Fort Frances; Valerie a.k.a Bunny Shelton of Payson, Utah; Terralyn (Silvio) De Dona of Nestor Falls; and Lori (Lee) Herseth of Lake Kabetogama in Ray, Minnesota.
As per her request, there will be no funeral service.
