John was born May 13, 1954 and live in Rainy River District all his life. He worked at Sapawe as a millwright for many years before moving to Fort Frances in 2008.
John is predeceased in death by infant daughter Lillian, mother Ida (Irvine) , brother Ira, sisters Heather(Smith) , Beatrice (Ogier). John is survived by wife Catherine(White) Of 30 years, son Matthew John, daughters Almeda and Jennifer. Sisters Bonnie Gouliquer (Ken) , Irene Orr (Blayne) , Mary Cote (Gerry) ,
As well as eight grandchildren, and two great grandchildren who all had a special place in Papas heart
John was love dearly by many nieces and nephews
