Jean Elizabeth Steele
February 25, 1935 – January 7,2020
It is with great sadness and sorrow we announce the sudden loss of our Mother Jean Elizabeth Steele (Jewell) on January 7,2020.
She was born on February 25th 1935 in Devlin, Ontario to the late Wellington and Blanche Jewell.
Jean will be greatly missed by her children Vernon (Doreen), Clarence (Judy), Cindy (Darren), Wendy (Jim), Arlene (Ed) and Jim (Kelly); her brothers and sisters, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grand children; numerous special friends and dear to her heart Tina and Suzie.
Jean was predeceased by her parents Wellington and Blanche, children Micheal and Bonnie, grandson Rick, great granddaughter McKalia, her best friend Betty and husbands Garry and Eldon.
Jean was an active member of the community selling Avon for the past 45 years and participating and holding various positions within the Emo Legion and the Ladies Auxiliary.
A celebration of Jean’s life will be held at a later date.
