Obituary for Henry Geyshick

Henry Brennon Geyshick “Bimahjiwehgaaboh”
On December 21, 2022 our lives changed forever, we announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, brother, nephew, uncle and friend, Henry Brennon Geyshick.
Henry was born in Fort Frances, Ontario on November 5, 1996. Henry grew up in Lac La Croix and in his teen years he and his brother and parents moved to Fort Frances so they could finish high school and play organized sports (volleyball being #1). The brothers were inseparable and like best friends, they did everything together.
Henry was well known by everyone, he enjoyed spending his days with his family on the lake for cookouts, family camping trips and just being with his family in general. He had a deep love and passion for fishing, hunting and being outdoors. He loved running the heavy equipment at work. Those were some of his favorite childhood toys: his toy grader and excavator, so this was definitely a dream come true for him.
Henry leaves behind his parents Corrine and Brendon, siblings Shantelle, Vanessa (Dennis) and Brandon. Waabun who he considered a little sister. Nieces Amaya, Erika, Avery Tiandra and nephews Nathan, Lance, Jadon, Chad, Ian Taison and Gary. Uncles Danny (Brenda), Randy, Gordy (Karen), Rodney, his uncle who was also his best friend Gray Whitefish and his auntie Margaret. He had lots of cousins, too many to mention from both sides of his family.
Henry was predecease by his maternal and paternal grandparents: Henry Geyshick, Helen Geyshick, Vernon Mainville, Marie Ottertail, Billy Ottertail, his cousin Eric Ottertail who he was like a big brother to and Johnny Geyshick.
A traditional Wake and Funeral ceremony will be conducted by Mide’kiwenzie of Ki’eshgitabaaning and his helpers.
Arrangements entrusted to Northridge Funeral Home Ltd.
