Obituary for Gail Helen Fulford

Gail Helen Fulford

It is with great sorrow that the family of Gail Helen (Livingston) Fulford announces her passing on Sunday, March 29, 2020 peacefully, with loved ones by her side.

Gail was born November 19, 1948 in Fort Frances, ON to Irvin and Helen (Sisco) Livingston.

Gail married the love of her life, Ralph on July 20, 1968, and they raised 2 daughters, Kim McMahon (Craig) and Randi Fulford (Eric). They also opened their home to foster multiple children. Most importantly, were “The Boys”, Cody McMahon (Sarah), Brett McMahon (Kaylee), Brady McMahon (Ashley), and Baeley Fulford; and her “Baby Girl” Shayna Shute. She was also so very happy to become Great-Gramma to her little sweethearts, Nash McMahon and Kaid McMahon, and loved their visits.

Gail was a graduate of Fort Frances High School, and worked many enjoyable years for CIBC. Together, Ralph and Gail renovated half of Fort Frances, always looking for their next project house, only taking a break for a coffee date with Dan and Carol. After retirement, Gail and Ralph spent many winters in Mazatlan, Mexico where they made many enjoyable memories with new and old friends. There, Gail took up golfing, following in the shoes of her big brother Dan.

Gail’s world revolved around her grandchildren and she loved to make soups, cookies and other homemade treats for them all. She was always a supporter of them and their activities, and was ever present in the audience or stands cheering them on even if it was “just a practice”,“G-ma” was there for a visit and to get the kids a treat. Her absence is heavy on our hearts.

Gail was predeceased by her husband Ralph; parents Helen and Irvin; brothers Dan, Bert, and Jim; and niece Susan.

She is survived by her children and their families; numerous inlaws, nieces and nephews; and special friends Carol and Ray Bujold; Donna Steele; and Sharon Payne.

At Gail's request, there will be no service. Cremation has taken place and she will be laid to rest next to her husband, mother, and father in Blue Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Northridge Funeral Home.

She flew up to Heaven on the wings of angels

By the clouds and stars and passed where no one sees

And she walks with Jesus and her loved ones waiting

And I know she's smiling saying

Don't worry 'bout me
