Obituary for Frederick Francis Brown
Frederick Francis Brown passed away peacefully with family by his side at the Algoma Residential Community Hospice on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at the age of 87.
Beloved husband and best friend of Shirley Brown for 53 wonderful years. Loving dad of Stephen Brown (Margaret), Oona Seguin and son-in-law Peter Seguin. Cherished grandfather of Christopher Brown (Amie), Megan Vaillant (Andre), Nicholas Brown, Samantha Seguin, Amie Seguin.
Predeceased by his parents Wilbert and Edna Brown and siblings Faye Cooper (Don), Anne Wilson (Doug).
Predeceased by his mother and father-in-law Olive and Stowe Wood. Dear brother-in-law of the late John Wood (Dorothy). Fondly remembered uncle to Brenda, Jonathan, Susan, Cheryl, Donna, Judy, Daryl, Cindy and the late Dave.
Fred will be missed by all his dear friends from his beloved community of Barwick. Fred was a true definition of a devoted husband to his Honey Shirley, following her in all her adventures whether it was shopping, visiting or touring around Ontario. They were very fortunate to do annual trips to Shirley's home Island Grand Turk after retirement. Fred was proud to have worked with the CNR for many years and was able to retire at 55.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday August 3, 2021, 11 a.m. at the Barwick Cemetery. Covid restrictions to be followed. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Emo Hospital Auxiliary, c/o Northridge Funeral Home, Box 89, Emo,. ON P0W 1E0.
