Obituary for Charles Walsh
It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our dad Charlie Walsh on October 5 2022. He was born July 18 1959 in Atikokan, ON to Mary and Charles Walsh.
Charlie loved being outside. He worked in the bush for many years before being hired on to Parks and Cemeteries for the Town of Fort Frances.
His favourite thing to do was grab a cup of coffee and 'shoot the shit' or watch a game with his kids. He knew every score of every sport....except soccer...
Dad loved to laugh and always made sure whoever was around was laughing as well.
He was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Charles, his step-dad Jim Hubert, sister Denise Milmore, brother Leonard Walsh.
Left to celebrate his life are his children Elaine Walsh (Craig), Roger, Bobby (Janelle), Joanie-Lee (Steven) Morrison. His siblings Stewart Hubert (Jodi) and Kim Bruyere (Blair). His Grandkids, Peyton, Khloe, Kinslee, Leyton, Logan, Soraya, Jolie, Tristyn, Orion, Charles, Reece, Lennix, Aleigha, Thierry, Finlay.
His step-kids Ang, Catie (Kit) and Dylan as well as many nieces and nephews and friends who became family.
Our Dad didn't want a service so please join us for a cup of coffee and a light lunch on October 14, 2022 11am to 2pm at the Multi-use facility on Couchiching First Nation.
The family would like to extend our thanks and gratitude to the nurses of LVGH.
