Obituary for Blaine Allen Caldwell

Blaine Allen Caldwell

It is with the heaviest of hearts, that the family of BLAINE CALDWELL, announce his passing on October 9th in Thunder Bay, ON.

Blaine was born in Bath NB on June 4,1990. He grew up in Bristol NB, and graduated from high school there. Blaine went on to College in Moncton NB where he studied Policing and Corrections.

Blaine moved to Fort Frances after graduating and got a job with Leon Degagne, where he was treated like family and given the opportunity to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps, who also mastered the skills of a mechanic.

He met his love Stacey, and his daughter Mya was born in 2014. Blaine loved being a father. Mya was his light, his heart and his soul.

Blaine is survived by his parents, Sandra and Harold, and his father Jason, daughter Mya and her mother Stacey, and son Waylon, siblings Robert (Tori), Justin, Tye, Jorja, Piper and Linnea. Also surviving are his grandparents Harold and Beth Logue and Leona Caldwell, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

On June 4th, 1990, you were placed in my arms for the first time. At that moment I understood what love was. Blaine, you were my first love. From that first moment I watched you grow into a kind, caring, compassionate, loving man. Your smile lit up any room you walked into and your laugh was contagious. You loved your family and friends unconditionally. You always saw the good in everyone. I was and still am so proud to have been your momma.

Like all books, life has many chapters, some happy, and some sad. You had your demons that you fought bravely and courageously. When I looked at you, I only saw my little boy. My love for you was unconditional. I will cherish the memories and always remember what an honour it was to be your mother.

Your family was your world. I will watch over and cherish every moment with your Mya. Through her eyes I will see you.

You will always own a piece of my heart and this is where I will draw strength from you.

I love you Blaine Allen Caldwell, forever and always.

His Journey’s Just Begun

Don’t think of him as gone away
his journey’s just begun,
life holds so many facets
this earth is only one.

Just think of him as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.

Think how he must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.

And think of him as living
in the hearts of those he touched…
for nothing loved is ever lost
and he was loved so much.
