Blaine Allen Caldwell

It is with the heaviest of hearts, that the family of BLAINE CALDWELL, announce his passing on October 9th in Thunder Bay, ON.

Blaine was born in Bath NB on June 4,1990. He grew up in Bristol NB, and graduated from high school there. Blaine went on to College in Moncton NB where he studied Policing and Corrections.

Blaine moved to Fort Frances after graduating and got a job with Leon Degagne, where he was treated like family and given the opportunity to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps, who also mastered the skills of a mechanic.

He met his love Stacey, and his daughter Mya was born in 2014. Blaine loved being a father. Mya was his light, his heart and his soul.

Blaine is survived by his parents, Sandra and Harold, and his father Jason, daughter Mya and her mother Stacey, and son Waylon, siblings Robert (Tori), Justin, Tye, Jorja, Piper and Linnea. Also surviving are his grandparents Harold and Beth Logue and Leona Caldwell, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

On June 4th, 1990, you were placed in my arms for the first time. At that moment I understood what love was. Blaine, you were my first love. From that first moment I watched you grow into a kind, caring, compassionate, loving man. Your smile lit up any room you walked into and your laugh was contagious. You loved your family and friends unconditionally. You always saw the good in everyone. I was and still am so proud to have been your momma.

Like all books, life has many chapters, some happy, and some sad. You had your demons that you fought bravely and courageously. When I looked at you, I only saw my little boy. My love for you was unconditional. I will cherish the memories and always remember what an honour it was to be your mother.

Your family was your world. I will watch over and cherish every moment with your Mya. Through her eyes I will see you.

You will always own a piece of my heart and this is where I will draw strength from you.

I love you Blaine Allen Caldwell, forever and always.

Due to the restrictions of Covid, a private gathering will be held by invitation in memory of Blaine.

His Journey’s Just Begun

Don’t think of him as gone away
his journey’s just begun,
life holds so many facets
this earth is only one.

Just think of him as resting
from the sorrows and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.

Think how he must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away.

And think of him as living
in the hearts of those he touched…
for nothing loved is ever lost
and he was loved so much.

We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Blaine. Mabel and I hold so many wonderful memories of him when he attended Kid's Klub with us in Bristol. I also had the privilege to work with him at the schools. Our prayers and thoughts are with the family at this time. May you find refuge, strength and help in the Almighty. Pastor Rick & Mabel Bruce

I’m so sorry to hear of Blaine’s passing. It breaks my heart. My son Mike was good friends with Blaine and I always enjoyed the time when he was at our home. Such a warm and pleasant young man. Blaine also worked with me in the mill in the most difficult working conditions close the mills closure. He was an excellent worker. My condolences to his family and close friends. My dearest Blaino..Im still in many wonderful memories!!Bonfires, BBQ, .Ryan pulling you in the horse cart, I can still hear the laughter! The Train ride from Edmonton to pick you n Stacy up in Wpg , finding out Mya was on the way, to when she was born! You were such a proud Daddy always for your kids!!.Mya starting school tour call when you were dying her hair and and your puppy dogs..seeing you guys at work at Leons how happy you were...I think of all the times you'd ask me to make you food and I did..fudge,cookies, banana bread, soup, whatever but your all time fav was chicken tater tot casserole!!You and Ryan would eat the entire pan in mere loved cooking for you guys!!..I think of the time you called me to make it on phone with you so you could have for supper!!!Step by step you got it made and it was awesome you were so proud of it! You n Ryan always kept me on my toes cuz you were his brother from another mother! Bromance....whether dirtbikes, snomachines, 4wheelers, go karts or plain old driving i worried! Or times when you would come to my rescue for breakdowns or whatever! I.didn't have to see you everyday to be greeted with my Blaino hugs and I will treasure them forever I cant believe there will be no more! No more saying "love ya my boy be good, and u replied"love ya Ma I will"! No more smile n laughter, tears or talks...the struggles were real I know many a conversation, with me usually preaching at you and you saying "yes Ma I know I will I promise" I would give anything to be able to hear those lit up the room with that smile. You were kind, compassionate, thoughtful and strong but vulnerable to with the biggest heart...These memories will carry us thru Im sorry Blaine I wasnt there this time for you...I will miss you always and forget you never! To your family im so so sorry I know words can't convey nearly enuf deepest sympathy. May Gods strength be wrapped around you, giving peace and some comfort at this sad and difficult time😭💘💔💞Luv Ma B.
