Obituary for Amyy Lynn Cyr
It is with profound sadness the family announces the sud-den passing of Amyy Lynn Cyr 15, of Naicatchewenin First Nation on June 22, 2023 in Fort Frances Ontario.
Amyy was born September 6, 2oo7 in Fort Frances. She enjoyed spending time with her many friends and family.She was very artistic and loved painting.
She will be greatly missed by her mother Michelle Cyr, her sister Anna, brother Jackson, sister Layla, grand-
mother Marcella Cyr, numerous cousins, Aunts, uncles and friends.
Amyy was predeceased by her grandfather Clarence Malcolm, uncle Jeffrey Cyr, grandparents Rosie Cyr and
Louie Cyr, and Aunt Roseanna Councillor.
A traditional wake will be held at the family home, 117 Smith Cres, Naicatchewenin First Nation on July 1, at
3:00 p.m., followed by a traditional service at the family home on Sunday, July 2, at 10:00 a.m. Elder Tommy
Councillor officiating.
Pall Bearers will be family and friends. Honourary Pall Bearers will be Anna, Bryson, Hailee, Jen, Shantelle,
Shelly and all of her cousins and friends.
