On Saturday October 6, 2018, Alex Beyak 92, of Rainy River, ON passed away after a brief illness.
Alex was born in the R.M of Stuartburn, MB on July 31, 1926 to Anna and Anton Beyak. After moving several times, the family finally settled in Rainy River. It was there that he met and married Verna (Moen) on Dec 29, 1947. They spent 65 years raising their five children and enjoying the outdoors together. Alex was an avid fisherman, hunter, card player and story teller.
Alex is survived by his sons Don (Elaine), Stephen (Shannon) and daughters JoAnne and Chris, his sisters Sonya and Sylvia, sister in laws Mille and Margaret, and numerous grandchildren.
Alex was predeceased by his parents, wife Verna, son Mark, grandson Jeremy and brothers Bill, Joe, Walt and Boris.
Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday December 8, 2018
