Sadly the family announces the passing of Roberta Maureen Chabot 65 of Fort Frances, Ontario on November 8, 2018 at the La Verendrye Hospital Fort Frances.
Roberta was born on May 22, 1953 in Fort Frances to parents Maurice and Mabel Dolph. She was united in marriage to Paul Chabot on May 10, 1980 in Fort Frances.
Roberta enjoyed volunteering her time with the Youth Bowling, Club 55+ and the summer/winter games at the Sister Kennedy Centre. She also liked doing puzzles, crocheting, sewing and bringing her great granddaughter Maddie to the Library for Wednesday story time. She also loved yelling at the tv when she watched her favorite baseball team Toronto Blue Jays, watching curling and her biggest passion was her garden and flowers. She also loved to press her luck at bingo hoping to win big.
She has been an active member of the Northern Ontario masters bowling association from 1980 until 2016. 5 pin bowling has been part of her life and that’s where she met the love of her life Paul Chabot. She will be greatly missed by all her family, friends and all the bowling community.
Roberta will be lovingly remembered by her husband Paul, her children Bob (Diana) of Thunder Bay, Jeanie of Fort Frances, and Tim (Thrisha) of Fort Frances; her grandchildren Josh (Kate), Natasha (Nathan), Cayman (Bailey), Caitlyn (Dallas), Amber (Ryan), Daffni, Aili and her great granddaughters Maddie and one expecting in December.
Roberta is also survived by her siblings Darlene (Reg), Walter (Diane), Teresa, Don (Kathy) and many numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents Maurice and Mabel Dolph, brother Monro Plumridge, sister Nancy Sharbot, grandparents Cecil and Mary Dolph, Arthur and Elizabeth Plumridge and in laws Albert Chabot and Helene Dunbar.
A service of celebration and remembrance will be held on Thursday November 15, 2018, 11 a.m. at the Fort Frances Royal Canadian Legion.
