Ernest Dwayne(Peanut) Blackburde


It is with great sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Ernest Dwayne (Peanut) Blackburde of Rainy River First Nations on Monday November 5, 2018 at his residence.

Dwayne was born in Emo Ontario July 29, 1960 to parents John Madden and Melvina Blackburde. He is survived by his children Kevin Callaghan (Melissa Labelle), Samantha Blackburde (Patrick Wensley), Chad Blackburde and Skye Blackburde; his grandchildren Daniel Blackburde, Payton and Payge Peterson, Kayden, Brooklyn and Maddy Callaghan. He is also survived by his siblings Florabelle Both, Leann Barrie, Deanna Peterson ,Jackie Brown, former spouse Patricia Callaghan, good friend Helen Palmer and their families.

Dwayne better known as Peanut is pre deceased by his grandparents Gilbert and Charlotte Blackburde. His mother and father Melvina Blackburde and John Madden, his brothers Bradley Blackburde and Derek Peterson.

Visitation will be held at the Northridge Funeral Home Friday November 9th, 2018, 6-9 p.m.

.Funeral service will take place at Rainy River First Nations gymnasium at 10 am, Saturday November 10, 2018. Cremation to follow. If desired memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice, c/o Northridge Funeral Home, Box 89, Emo, ON P0W 1E0.
