Robert James Tofte “Bob”
Robert James Tofte “Bob” passed away on Friday October 26, 2018 at the Rainy River Hospital at the age of 86.
Bob was born in Bergland Ontario on March 10, 1932 to parents Judith (nee Westberg) and Harry Tofte. He resided in the family home his entire life, and worked for many years driving truck. He had a great fondness for music and played guitar. He will be remembered by many playing in the local band called Country Blue. Bob enjoyed travelling in his later years.
He is survived by his good friend Amber Davidson, his brother John (Davey) Tofte of Langley BC, nephew Daniel Tofte of Delta BC and niece Judy Hunter of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA USA and many good friends.
Bob was predeceased by his parents Harry and Judith and brother Ed (Vivian) Tofte.
A time of fellowship will be held in Bob’s memory on Saturday November 3, 2018 from 11-1 p.m at Bergland Hall. Interment will take place in Bergland Cemetery.
